Etienne van Heerden’s novel surveillance capital and identity politics, Die biblioteek aan die einde van die wêreld, is shortlisted for the prestigious University of Johannesburg Prize for Literature, along with works by Harry Kalmer, who passed away recently, and other strong writers.
